We are seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to join our accounting and finance team. This individual will play a key role in managing day-to-day accounting operations, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards.</p><p><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><p>Oversee and manage general ledger accounting, month-end and year-end close processes.</p><p>Assist with preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and reports.</p><p>Support Controller with cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting.</p><p>Supervise and mentor accounting staff; provide leadership and management support.</p><p>Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax requirements, and internal company policies.</p><p>Partner with project management teams to review job costing, WIP schedules, and project financials.</p><p>Assist in implementing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the accounting function.</p><p>Contribute to the buildout and improvement of payroll procedures, including certified payroll / Davis-Bacon requirements.</p><p>Manage and track fixed assets and depreciation schedules.</p><p>Help drive system efficiencies; experience with Vista by Viewpoint strongly preferred.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
