The ideal candidate brings expertise in both private and public accounting, with a strong preference for experience in the manufacturing sector.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Lead and manage a team of up to 10 accounting and finance staff, fostering collaboration and efficiency.<br>• Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.<br>• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure operational integrity.<br>• Collaborate with leadership to provide insights and recommendations on financial strategies and business performance.<br>• Monitor and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning processes.<br>• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry-specific standards.<br>• Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.<br>• Support the implementation of financial systems and tools to streamline operational processes.<br>• Provide mentorship and training to team members to enhance their attention to detail and growth.
