In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring accurate financial management and reporting for various projects. By collaborating with project teams, you will help maintain financial compliance and contribute to the success of our operations. Responsibilities:• Oversee the project billing process, including setting up and maintaining client accounts, generating invoices, and handling accounts receivable.• Process supplier and subcontractor invoices, manage purchase orders, and ensure timely payments.• Assist with subcontractor prequalification and ensure compliance with insurance documentation requirements.• Analyze project data to identify and correct coding errors, time discrepancies, and other financial inaccuracies.• Collaborate with operations managers to provide profit and loss reports and support month-end financial close procedures.• Communicate regularly with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to address payment statuses and resolve inquiries.• Maintain accurate project records, including contracts, change orders, and expense documentation.• Compile financial information for audits and ensure proper project account closeout upon completion.• Act as a liaison between project teams, accounting, and finance departments to ensure seamless communication and data flow.• Identify opportunities to improve financial controls and maximize project profitability. We are seeking a Senior Accountant for a contract‑to‑hire opportunity supporting day‑to‑day accounting operations, month‑end close, and financial reporting. This role will partner closely with the Controller and broader finance team to maintain accurate financial records, improve processes, and provide reliable support during a period of workload or transition, with the opportunity to convert to full‑time based on performance and business needs.
