We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join a manufacturing team in Avon, Ohio in a contract-to-permanent capacity. This opportunity offers direct exposure to both accounting and plant operations while supporting financial reporting, analysis, and fixed asset activities. The role works closely with the Controller and is well suited for someone who wants to build experience in a hands-on environment, including candidates who are early in their career and eager to learn.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Prepare financial analysis and reporting that supports day-to-day business decisions within a manufacturing setting.<br>• Assist with budgeting cycles, forecasting updates, and the review of performance against plan.<br>• Examine operational and financial results to identify trends, explain variances, and highlight key business drivers.<br>• Contribute to month-end close activities by helping with journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement support.<br>• Support cost-related accounting work such as labor tracking, inventory-related review activities, cycle count follow-up, and fixed asset record maintenance.<br>• Partner with plant and finance leadership to develop a stronger understanding of shop floor operations and their financial impact.<br>• Help maintain reporting accuracy by working within financial systems and consolidation tools used by the business.<br>• Participate in internal control efforts and process improvement initiatives that strengthen reporting and operational discipline.
<p>We are looking for an experienced Accountant. </p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Direct accounting operations and prepare financial reports for multiple entities, ensuring records are complete, accurate, and easy for stakeholders to interpret</p><p>• Coordinate tax compliance activities for business entities, working closely with external advisors as needed</p><p>• Manage treasury functions such as daily cash positioning, banking activity, and short- and long-range liquidity planning</p><p>• Strengthen internal controls and monitor financial practices to support compliance with applicable regulations and sound governance standards</p><p>• Participate in budgeting, long-term financial planning, and evaluation of investments or other strategic financial priorities</p><p>• Oversee key accounting activities including month-end close, journal entry preparation, general ledger maintenance, and account and bank reconciliations</p><p>• Provide additional financial and operational support as priorities evolve across the family enterprise</p>
