- <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>Our client is seeking a <strong>QA Engineer</strong> to help drive software quality across a rapidly growing development organization. This team is currently balancing both manual and automated testing and is aggressively expanding its automation capabilities. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced Agile environment, have strong hands-on testing experience across the application stack, and be excited about leveraging AI-powered development tools such as Claude Code to improve quality and efficiency.</p><p><br></p><p>This is an opportunity to join a team that is investing heavily in automation while still valuing strong manual testing fundamentals. You'll partner closely with developers, product owners, and integration teams to ensure quality is built into every stage of development.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p><ul><li>Design, execute, and maintain both manual and automated test cases for web-based applications.</li><li>Work closely with Product Owners and Software Engineers to ensure quality requirements are defined early in the development lifecycle.</li><li>Expand and enhance existing test automation efforts, primarily using Playwright.</li><li>Validate front-end functionality, back-end business logic, APIs, and database integrations.</li><li>Perform API and integration testing to ensure reliable data flow between systems.</li><li>Execute regression, functional, acceptance, and exploratory testing.</li><li>Conduct SQL-based testing and data validation against relational databases.</li><li>Identify, document, and track software defects using Jira.</li><li>Participate in Agile ceremonies including standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.</li><li>Help establish QA best practices and improve testing processes across the organization.</li><li>Leverage AI-assisted development and testing tools, including Claude Code, to improve testing efficiency and productivity.</li></ul>
