<p><strong>Overview</strong></p><p>Our client is seeking a <strong>Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer</strong> to support and enhance enterprise cloud and infrastructure platforms across Microsoft Azure, Linux, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and disaster recovery environments. This role will focus on cloud modernization, infrastructure automation, container platform administration, and operational support for highly available business-critical systems.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><strong>Azure & Cloud Infrastructure</strong></p><ul><li>Design, implement, and support secure, scalable, and highly available Azure solutions.</li><li>Manage Azure infrastructure, networking, and platform services.</li><li>Support cloud modernization efforts and migration of on-premises workloads to Azure.</li><li>Implement identity management, network security, and data protection controls in partnership with security teams.</li><li>Monitor and optimize cloud performance, availability, and cost using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and related tools.</li><li>Develop Infrastructure-as-Code and automation solutions using Terraform, Azure CLI, and similar technologies.</li><li>Support integrations with enterprise applications and operational platforms.</li><li>Maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational runbooks.</li></ul><p><strong>Linux & Container Platforms</strong></p><ul><li>Administer and support an enterprise environment of 200+ Linux servers across production, QA, and development environments.</li><li>Perform OS upgrades, patching, performance tuning, and system maintenance.</li><li>Deploy, administer, and support Kubernetes and OpenShift environments.</li><li>Manage cluster lifecycle activities including installation, upgrades, patching, scaling, and maintenance.</li><li>Configure and support RBAC, namespaces, networking, ingress controllers, and persistent storage.</li><li>Partner with application teams on containerized workloads and production deployments.</li><li>Monitor platform health, performance, capacity, and availability.</li><li>Troubleshoot issues across Linux, containers, networking, and storage environments.</li></ul><p><strong>Infrastructure Operations & Disaster Recovery</strong></p><ul><li>Support enterprise backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives.</li><li>Assist with backup validation, recovery testing, and disaster recovery planning.</li><li>Support Rubrik and Zerto environments.</li><li>Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and infrastructure reliability efforts.</li><li>Participate in an on-call rotation supporting critical systems and services.</li></ul><p><strong>*Please note: This is a fully onsite role in Johns Creek, GA.
