<p><strong>Overview</strong></p><p>We’re looking for a hands-on Senior Network Engineer to take ownership of a large-scale manufacturing site’s network infrastructure. This role involves reverse-engineering and documenting the current environment, addressing technical debt, and redesigning network architecture to support future automation goals. You’ll work in a Cisco-based environment with Fortinet firewalls and collaborate closely with IT and OT teams to ensure secure, reliable connectivity across a 24x7 operation. If you have strong networking expertise and thrive in complex, project-driven environments, this is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>POSITION: SENIOR NETWORK ENGINEER</strong></p><p><strong>LOCATION: WILMER, TX - ONSITE</strong></p><p><strong>DURATION: 6-12 MONTHS POSSIBLITILY TO CONVERT</strong></p><p><strong>RATE: $70 - $80/HOUR</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Analyze and document the existing network using tools like Confluence and Draw.io.</li><li>Redesign network architecture to improve performance, security, and scalability.</li><li>Support legacy domain centralization and security architecture enhancements.</li><li>Maintain and optimize Cisco networking components (routing, switching, wireless).</li><li>Collaborate with IT and OT teams to ensure seamless integration with manufacturing systems.</li><li>Partner with vendors to resolve complex technical issues.</li><li>Contribute to the long-term goal of creating a fully autonomous site operation.</li></ul><p><br></p>

<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking (routing, switching, wireless).</li><li>Expertise in network documentation and architecture redesign.</li><li>Manufacturing background and IT/OT integration knowledge preferred.</li><li>Certifications are a plus but not required—experience matters most.</li></ul><p><br></p>
