In this role, you will oversee financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in reporting, budgeting, and compliance. Responsibilities:• Oversee the monthly close process, ensuring all financial reports are accurate and completed on time.• Prepare and review account reconciliations to ensure the integrity of the general ledger and financial statements.• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing.• Lead budgeting and forecasting efforts, collaborating with management to create annual budgets and periodic forecasts.• Handle project accounting responsibilities, including job cost tracking, work-in-progress analysis, billing, and revenue recognition.• Monitor and manage cash flow, preparing projections to optimize liquidity.• Develop and implement initiatives aimed at driving strategic growth and improving operational efficiency.• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.• Collaborate with various departments to address accounting challenges and align with organizational goals.• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.

<ol><li>Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance, Masters a plus</li><li>5+ years of construction industry accounting</li><li>Experience with QuickBooks, Procore a plus</li><li>Some experience in WIP reporting and project accounting needed, AIA experience a big plus</li><li>Energy and professionalism are important here</li><li>Clean resume with limited movement</li></ol>
