Executive Assistant
We are looking for an Executive Assistant to provide high-level support in a fast-paced Contract role based in Washington, District of Columbia. This position will help keep executive operations running smoothly by overseeing scheduling, travel planning, and coordination with leadership and board stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings sound judgment, strong interpersonal awareness, and the ability to manage sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Oversee complex executive calendars, prioritizing meetings, resolving scheduling conflicts, and ensuring leaders are well prepared for daily commitments.<br>• Arrange domestic and international travel plans, including itineraries, logistics, and timely communication with all relevant parties.<br>• Coordinate closely with security personnel when travel is involved so that plans, movements, and required updates are properly shared.<br>• Support board-related activities by organizing meeting logistics, preparing materials, and helping maintain smooth communication with board members.<br>• Manage executive meeting coordination from planning through follow-up, ensuring agendas, documents, and action items are handled efficiently.<br>• Use Microsoft Office applications and SharePoint to organize information, maintain documentation, and support day-to-day administrative processes.<br>• Serve as a reliable point of coordination across internal and external stakeholders while handling sensitive interactions with tact and emotional intelligence.
• Demonstrated experience supporting senior executives in an administrative or executive assistant capacity.<br>• Strong background in calendar management, meeting coordination, and handling changing priorities with accuracy.<br>• Proven ability to book and manage detailed travel arrangements, including multi-stop domestic and international itineraries.<br>• Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including leadership teams, board members, and external contacts.<br>• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with SharePoint is preferred, and training can be provided.<br>• High level of emotional intelligence, discretion, and professionalism when working with confidential information.<br>• Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to follow through on time-sensitive tasks.
