We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Visalia, California. This is a long-term contract position within the manufacturing industry, offering an excellent opportunity to utilize your accounting expertise in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have over five years of accounting experience with a strong attention to detail, as well as a solid background in month-end processes, financial reconciliations, and cost accounting. Responsibilities:• Manage month-end close procedures, ensuring all financial statements are accurate and completed on time.• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure compliance with accounting standards.• Prepare and post journal entries to document financial transactions and adjustments.• Conduct detailed account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and ensure proper balances.• Perform bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of cash flow and transactions.• Analyze cost accounting data to provide insights for operational decision-making.• Collaborate with internal teams to support financial audits and reporting requirements.• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations in all accounting activities.• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

• Minimum of five years of accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry. • Proficiency in month-end close processes, including preparation of financial statements. • Strong knowledge of general ledger maintenance and account reconciliation. • Expertise in preparing and posting journal entries. • Experience with bank reconciliations and cash flow analysis. • Solid understanding of cost accounting principles and practices. • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
