<p>Our client is seeking a collaborative, highly skilled Security Engineer to support and enhance their cybersecurity operations. This person will play a critical part in maintaining and strengthening security coverage, with a focus on CrowdStrike and SIEM tools. This individual may also help upskill internal staff and contribute to evolving team culture.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Administer and optimize CrowdStrike endpoint security solutions</li><li>Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events using SIEM tools</li><li>Investigate incidents and implement remediation strategies</li><li>Support vulnerability management and threat detection initiatives</li><li>Document processes, procedures, and security events clearly and thoroughly</li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally with IT and business teams</li><li>Assist in mentoring/training internal staff on security best practices</li></ul><p> </p>

<p>• 5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity engineering or a closely related security-focused role.</p><p>• Hands-on experience working with CrowdStrike in administration, support, or engineering capacities.</p><p>• Practical knowledge of Check Point technologies within enterprise security environments.</p><p>• Background in configuration management and maintaining secure, well-documented system settings.</p><p>• Ability to create organized technical documentation for security processes and platform administration.</p><p>• Experience delivering IT training, user guidance, or knowledge transfer to internal teams.</p><p>• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills in cross-functional technical environments.</p><ul><li>Hands-on experience with CrowdStrike (EDR)</li><li>Strong background working with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar)</li><li>Proven experience in incident response and security operations</li><li>Excellent documentation and communication skills</li><li>Collaborative, team-first mindset with strong interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and in a remote or hybrid environment</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Nice to Have:</strong></p><ul><li>Local to Minnesota for occasional onsite collaboration</li><li>Experience supporting team development or training initiatives</li><li>Strong understanding of evolving security frameworks and best practices</li></ul><p><br></p>
