Events Coordinator
<p>Seeking a hands-on Events Coordinator to support workplace meetings, events, and daily facility operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment and enjoys both physical setup work and interacting with stakeholders. The position will start with guided support and transition into a more independent role once fully trained.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>Meeting & Event Support</strong></p><ul><li>Set up, reconfigure, and reset meeting rooms, including tables, chairs, and layouts</li><li>Prepare conference rooms with required materials such as flip charts, markers, and supplies</li><li>Assist with basic audio/visual setup and coordinate with AV support teams as needed</li><li>Inspect meeting spaces prior to events to ensure cleanliness and readiness</li><li>Provide onsite support during events, including adjustments and room resets</li><li>Coordinate room setups and changes with internal teams</li><li>Deliver event-related items such as tablecloths and office supplies</li><li>Maintain and restock conference spaces with standard supplies</li></ul><p><strong>Facilities & Operational Support</strong></p><ul><li>Perform general labor tasks including moving furniture, loading/unloading materials, and running errands</li><li>Restock coffee stations, kitchens, and office areas</li><li>Support inventory management in copy and supply areas</li><li>Submit maintenance and janitorial requests as needed</li></ul><p><strong>Administrative & Team Support</strong></p><ul><li>Assist with booking requests for meetings and event spaces</li><li>Update signage and support site-wide communications</li><li>Perform administrative duties to support events and facility operations</li><li>Maintain professional and clear communication with internal stakeholders</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations</li><li>Follow established procedures to complete tasks with accuracy and consistency</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p><strong>Required</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or GED</li><li>Up to 2 years of relevant work experience</li><li>Experience with meeting/event setup or similar hands-on work</li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders</li><li>Customer service or hospitality-focused mindset</li><li>Ability to follow processes and work independently once trained</li><li>Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)</li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in a client-facing or corporate environment</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Additional Information</strong></p><ul><li>This role involves physical activity, including moving furniture and setting up rooms</li><li>Responsibilities may shift based on business and event needs</li><li>Opportunity to grow into a more independent role over time</li></ul><p><br></p>
