Infrastructure Project Manager
<p>We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead major technology upgrade efforts in San Francisco, California. This role will oversee enterprise telephony and audio/visual modernization programs, partnering with technical teams, vendors, and leadership to keep delivery on track and aligned with organizational goals. This is a long-term contract position for an individual who can bring structure, visibility, and strong stakeholder communication to complex infrastructure initiatives.</p><p><br></p><p>This is an on-site, long-term contract. </p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Direct concurrent infrastructure modernization projects, ensuring scope, timelines, budgets, and milestones are actively managed from initiation through completion.</p><p>• Build and maintain detailed project plans, monitor dependencies and risks, and drive timely resolution of issues that could affect delivery.</p><p>• Prepare leadership-facing updates that clearly communicate progress, financial status, key decisions, and areas requiring attention.</p><p>• Coordinate with internal technology teams, business partners, and external service providers to keep implementation activities aligned across workstreams.</p><p>• Oversee vendor and contractor performance by tracking deliverables, reviewing schedules, and addressing gaps in execution.</p><p>• Facilitate meetings, status reviews, and decision-making sessions with stakeholders ranging from operational staff to executive leaders.</p><p>• Translate technical project details into practical business impacts and recommendations for non-technical audiences.</p><p>• Support onsite deployment coordination across multiple locations for telephony, AV, and related infrastructure activities.</p><p>• Maintain accurate project documentation, dashboards, reports, and presentation materials to support governance and accountabilityl</p>
• At least 10 years of experience managing large-scale IT or infrastructure projects in complex organizational environments.<br>• Proven success delivering enterprise technology initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and visible business impact.<br>• Strong ability to manage governance processes, executive reporting, budgeting, and project risk controls.<br>• Experience overseeing third-party vendors, consultants, or contractors and holding them accountable to delivery expectations.<br>• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization.<br>• Demonstrated capability to work independently while maintaining momentum in a fast-paced, high-accountability setting.<br>• Background in telephony, unified communications, audio/visual systems, workplace technology, or related infrastructure programs is preferred.<br>• Project management certification or equivalent credential is preferred.
