<p>We are seeking a skilled Database Analyst to join our team in San Francisco, California. This position is a contract-to-permanent opportunity, requiring a detail-oriented individual with a strong technical background and hands-on experience in database management and data migration. The role involves working on-site three days a week and contributing to the seamless integration and optimization of organizational data systems.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Lead the migration of data from legacy systems into Apricot/Bonterra, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout the process.</p><p>• Utilize Apricot’s tools to design and modify forms, fields, and import mappings for complex datasets.</p><p>• Extract, transform, and clean data from scattered legacy databases using SQL Server and Access.</p><p>• Validate, troubleshoot, and verify data to maintain compliance with reporting standards and privacy regulations.</p><p>• Develop training materials and provide hands-on support to non-technical staff during the transition to a unified data system.</p><p>• Design and implement reporting and visualization solutions using tools like Power BI and Tableau.</p><p>• Collaborate with diverse teams to ensure data integrity and promote consistent practices across all programs.</p><p>• Monitor and improve data quality to support grant and contract reporting needs.</p><p>• Provide technical guidance to staff and foster a collaborative, mission-driven work environment.</p>

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in database analysis and data migration.<br>• Proficiency in Apricot/Bonterra for data mapping, cleaning, and importing.<br>• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and Access.<br>• Ability to extract, normalize, and transform data from multiple systems.<br>• Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI and Tableau.<br>• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.<br>• Proven ability to train and support non-technical staff effectively.<br>• Familiarity with nonprofit environments and equity-focused practices.
