Cloud Engineer
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our team in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in building and securing a new Azure cloud environment from the ground up. This position offers a unique opportunity to design and implement robust security measures, ensuring a strong foundation for organizational compliance and performance.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Deploy and configure Microsoft Defender for Cloud across multiple Azure subscriptions to enhance security monitoring and threat protection.<br>• Develop and implement Azure Policy definitions and assignments to meet organizational and regulatory standards.<br>• Design a comprehensive Log Analytics workspace architecture and configure diagnostic settings for consistent data collection.<br>• Create and enforce Conditional Access policies within the Azure Active Directory environment.<br>• Set up and manage network security groups, flow logs, and network monitoring tools to safeguard cloud-based resources.<br>• Provide technical support for compliance controls to meet organizational and regulatory requirements.<br>• Prepare detailed security architecture documentation, including policy baselines and operational procedures, to guide ongoing team operations.
• Proficiency with Ansible for automation and configuration management.<br>• Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) technologies, including EC2 and Auto Scaling.<br>• Strong expertise in deploying and managing Microsoft Azure security tools and services.<br>• Knowledge of designing and implementing network security measures in cloud environments.<br>• Familiarity with compliance standards and regulatory frameworks applicable to cloud infrastructure.<br>• Ability to produce clear and comprehensive technical documentation.<br>• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
