This role combines hands-on technical expertise with people leadership and vendor management.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead, mentor, and manage a team of <strong>4 network engineers</strong>, providing technical guidance and performance support.</li><li>Oversee daily operations of LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless network environments.</li><li>Ensure high availability and performance through proactive monitoring and rapid troubleshooting.</li><li>Act as primary escalation point for complex network issues and outages.</li><li>Partner with service providers to resolve WAN and carrier-related issues.</li><li>Lead network design, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.</li><li>Maintain network documentation, standards, and operational procedures.</li></ul>

<p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Strong Project Manager</li><li><strong>6+ years of networking and IT experience</strong>, including team leadership or senior-level responsibility.</li><li>Strong experience with <strong>Cisco VPN technologies</strong>.</li><li>Deep knowledge of routing protocols: <strong>EIGRP, BGP, and OSPF</strong>.</li><li>Excellent <strong>troubleshooting and WAN diagnostic skills</strong>.</li><li>Experience working independently with <strong>service providers and carriers</strong>.</li><li>Strong knowledge of <strong>LAN technologies</strong>: STP, VLANs, HSRP, VTP.</li><li>Working technical knowledge of <strong>HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SNMP, TACACS+</strong>.</li><li>Experience supporting <strong>Cisco wireless technologies</strong>.</li><li>Ability to commute to <strong>Malibu, more frequently for the first three months</strong>.</li></ul><p><br></p>
