Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage network security solutions aligned with compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, HIPAA). Configure, deploy, and maintain firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or similar). Manage and optimize Cisco network devices (routers, switches, VPNs) for secure connectivity. Utilize Splunk for log analysis, threat detection, and SIEM monitoring. Perform packet analysis and troubleshooting using Wireshark. Implement and manage endpoint security solutions such as Microsoft Defender and SentinelOne. Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and remediation activities. Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and governance controls. Monitor network traffic and respond to security incidents promptly. Maintain documentation for security architecture, configurations, and compliance audits.

Required Skills & Qualifications Strong experience with network security engineering and firewall management. Hands-on expertise with Cisco technologies (routing, switching, VPN, ASA). Knowledge of compliance and governance frameworks (NIST, ISO, PCI-DSS, HIPAA). Proficiency with Splunk for SIEM and log analysis. Experience using Wireshark for packet capture and network troubleshooting. Familiarity with endpoint security platforms (Microsoft Defender, SentinelOne). Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Cisco Certified Network detail oriented (CCNP Security) or Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate. Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments. Knowledge of automation tools for network security (Ansible, Python scripting).
