We are looking for an experienced Controller to support financial operations for a long-term contract opportunity. This position is ideal for a hands-on, detail-oriented accounting specialist who combines strong technical accounting expertise with advanced reporting capabilities in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Power BI. The role will concentrate on improving visibility across general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory activity while delivering practical reporting tools that support business decisions. Responsibilities:• Core accounting activities across the general ledger, receivables, payables, and inventory to help ensure accurate financial records and reliable reporting.• Develop Power BI dashboards and reports that present financial and operational data in a clear, accessible format aligned with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.• Analyze accounting data to identify trends, exceptions, and performance insights that support management decision-making.• Maintain reporting structures and data connections between Business Central and business intelligence tools to promote consistency and usability.• Partner with stakeholders to define reporting needs and translate them into effective dashboards, metrics, and recurring financial reports.• Guide team members on how to build, update, and maintain reports so that reporting capabilities can be used effectively across the organization.• Review financial information for completeness and accuracy, resolving discrepancies related to ledger activity, subledgers, and inventory balances.• Support ongoing enhancements to reporting processes and accounting workflows to improve efficiency, transparency, and control.

• Strong background in accounting with practical experience managing general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory accounting activities. • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, including the ability to work confidently as a system power user. • Hands-on expertise in Power BI with a proven ability to create intuitive, business-friendly reports and dashboards. • Experience translating accounting and operational data into meaningful reporting for a range of users. • Solid understanding of financial reporting principles, account reconciliation, and data accuracy controls. • Ability to train and support team members in report creation, upkeep, and best practices. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in a finance-focused environment.
