Administrative Assistant
We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to support a non-profit organization in Framingham, Massachusetts. This is a Contract position offering the opportunity to contribute to daily office operations, provide responsive support to internal and external contacts, and keep administrative processes running smoothly. The ideal candidate is adaptable, organized, and comfortable balancing data-focused tasks with front-office and customer service responsibilities.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Maintain and update spreadsheets, organize information accurately, and prepare data for reporting or day-to-day use.<br>• Review incoming requests and follow established procedures to route tasks and documentation appropriately.<br>• Provide courteous and attentive service when assisting callers, visitors, and other stakeholders.<br>• Communicate clearly with staff, partners, and external contacts to ensure timely follow-up and accurate information sharing.<br>• Shift efficiently between competing priorities while keeping administrative work on track and deadlines in focus.<br>• Support general office operations through data entry, document handling, and routine administrative coordination.<br>• Assist with front-desk and receptionist-related duties as needed to help maintain an organized office environment.
• Previous experience in an administrative assistant, office support, or receptionist role.<br>• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including the ability to work with spreadsheets and manage data accurately.<br>• Strong data entry skills with a high level of attention to detail.<br>• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with a range of stakeholders.<br>• Demonstrated customer service experience, including handling inbound calls and responding helpfully to inquiries.<br>• Ability to manage multiple assignments at once and adapt quickly as priorities change.<br>• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with three days per week in the office.
