This role is responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, driving financial insights, and supporting strategic decision-making to optimize profitability. This position partners closely with ownership and cross-functional leadership, taking full ownership of financial processes while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and long-term financial performance. For more information about this position please reach out to Lisa Cole at 916-649-0832. </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger and financial reporting</li><li>Monitor cash flow, bank balances, and overall financial health</li><li>Manage accounts receivable processes and collections</li><li>Facilitate partner/vendor payments and reconcile associated reporting</li><li>Review and manage expenses, including reimbursable costs</li><li>Handle month-end close activities and financial analysis</li><li>Coordinate with external tax partners and support compliance requirements</li><li>Track key business deadlines and ensure regulatory compliance</li><li>Support payroll processing in partnership with a third-party provider</li><li>Prepare and file monthly sales tax reports</li><li>Reconcile transaction activity, including high-volume receipt balancing</li></ul><p><br></p>

<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience</li><li>Proven ability to operate in a hands-on, fast-paced environment</li><li>Strong integrity, accountability, and sound judgment</li><li>Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing conditions</li><li>Strategic thinker with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency</li><li>Effective leadership and team collaboration skills</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication abilities</li><li>Proficiency in QuickBooks (preferred)</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p>
