<p><strong>Controller – Canton, MA (Onsite → Hybrid Later)</strong></p><p>Our client is seeking a <strong>hands‑on Controller</strong> to lead all core accounting operations and partner closely with senior leadership in a collaborative, low‑turnover environment. <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in accounting</li><li>Certified Public Accounting designation is preferred </li><li>Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements</li><li>Highly comfortable with technology, systems, and emerging AI tools, with a track record of using them to improve process efficiency, reporting accuracy, and overall finance team productivity</li><li>7+ years of relevant accounting/finance experience, including experience in a senior accounting leadership role; experience in Consumer / Retail industry strongly preferred</li><li>Excellent organizational skills &amp; strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and integrity</li><li>Experience with Shopify and A2000 ERP a plus</li><li>Exceptional work ethic and the ability to work independently without considerable oversight</li></ul><p><strong>Major Keys </strong></p><ul><li>Hands-on Controller that can bring Process Improvement approach to the org.</li><li>Can work closely with company but also the PE firm.</li><li>Shopify experience (Preferred)</li><li>D2C (Direct to Consumer)/ Wholesale experience (Preferred)</li><li>Transaction experience </li></ul>
