Property Associate
We are looking for a dedicated Property Associate for a contract position in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This role requires an organized, detail-oriented individual with strong invoicing and administrative skills to support property management functions effectively. The position will last approximately 3-4 months, with potential for extension or conversion based on performance and business needs.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Process and manage invoices using Yardi software, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions.<br>• Maintain detailed records of accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring compliance with company standards.<br>• Coordinate with vendors and manage correspondence to address property-related tasks.<br>• Support budgeting processes by tracking expenses and preparing reports.<br>• Oversee documentation and filing systems to maintain organized and accessible records.<br>• Assist with auditing and billing procedures to ensure financial accuracy.<br>• Handle daily administrative duties, including typing, reporting, and database management.<br>• Collaborate with the team to ensure operations are running smoothly and efficiently.<br>• Monitor compliance with insurance policies and other regulatory requirements.<br>• Manage expense reporting and collection processes for the property.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in property management or a related field.<br>• Proficiency in invoicing systems, particularly Yardi software.<br>• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks independently.<br>• Attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial records and documentation.<br>• Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense reporting processes.<br>• Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, team members, and other stakeholders.<br>• Experience in commercial real estate is a plus but not required.<br>• Self-motivated and capable of working autonomously with minimal supervision.
