Desktop Support Analyst
We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Calhoun, Georgia. This role involves providing technical assistance to clients by troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and networking issues. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to communicate technical solutions effectively, and a proactive attitude towards learning new technologies. This is a Contract-to-Permanent position, offering an opportunity to grow within the organization.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage daily deskside support tasks, addressing user tickets related to hardware, software, network connectivity, and telephony.<br>• Assist clients with installing and configuring Microsoft products, including Office 365, Windows OS, and Azure.<br>• Provide step-by-step guidance to users for installing applications and computer peripherals.<br>• Diagnose technical issues by asking targeted questions and conducting thorough troubleshooting.<br>• Resolve problems through remote support and testing alternative solutions.<br>• Take ownership of support tickets and ensure their resolution, including documenting issues and solutions in logs.<br>• Perform minor administrative tasks on backend servers, such as applying software updates and managing backups.<br>• Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support teams when necessary.<br>• Follow up with clients to confirm functionality and satisfaction before closing tickets.<br>• Develop technical documentation and user manuals to support clients and enhance service delivery.
• Proficiency in PC desktop and workstation support.<br>• Hands-on experience with Active Directory and related administrative tasks.<br>• Strong knowledge of desktop hardware troubleshooting and repairs.<br>• Expertise in Windows 10 and related software.<br>• Familiarity with desktop imaging processes and tools.<br>• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.<br>• Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests.<br>• Willingness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies and techniques.
