We are looking for a Contract Recruiter to support hiring efforts for technical and engineering roles in Boulder, Colorado. This position is ideal for someone who can manage the full recruitment lifecycle, engage specialized talent, and communicate effectively with both hiring teams and candidates in highly technical environments. The right candidate brings strong sourcing expertise, operates independently with confidence, and thrives in a fast-paced setting that requires organization, adaptability, and sound judgment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Lead end-to-end recruitment activities for technical, engineering, and other specialized openings, from intake discussions through offer coordination.<br>• Build and maintain candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing strategies across multiple channels, with a focus on hard-to-find talent markets.<br>• Partner closely with hiring managers to clarify role expectations, align on candidate profiles, and refine search approaches as business needs evolve.<br>• Evaluate applicants for both technical capability and overall fit, including candidates with experience in Python-related and RF-focused positions.<br>• Communicate role details, hiring timelines, and feedback clearly to candidates and internal stakeholders throughout the selection process.<br>• Use applicant tracking systems and related tools to manage requisitions, document activity, and maintain accurate recruitment records.<br>• Support hiring for sensitive positions that may require eligibility to work in the U.S. and familiarity with regulated or security-conscious environments.<br>• Contribute to high-volume recruiting efforts when needed while maintaining a consistent and high-quality candidate experience.
• 5+ years of recruiting experience, including ownership of the full hiring process from sourcing to offer stage.<br>• Demonstrated success recruiting for technical and engineering roles, with the ability to understand and discuss technical terminology.<br>• Strong background in direct sourcing and talent market research for specialized or difficult-to-fill positions.<br>• Experience using applicant tracking systems to manage workflow, candidate documentation, and reporting.<br>• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple searches, and stay organized in a deadline-driven environment.<br>• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build credibility with hiring managers, candidates, and cross-functional partners.<br>• Defense industry or DoD recruiting experience is strongly preferred.<br>• Experience identifying and recruiting U.S. citizens for sensitive or restricted roles is highly preferred.
