Document Services Rep
We are looking for a detail-oriented Document Services Rep to support document handling and administrative operations at an on-site office in Boston, Massachusetts. This Long-term Contract position is well suited for someone who enjoys organized, hands-on work and can manage high volumes of physical and digital records with accuracy. The role involves document preparation, inventory tracking, and basic data entry while using Microsoft Excel and Word to maintain reliable records.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Organize, sort, and maintain physical files to ensure records are easy to locate and properly stored.<br>• Prepare paper documents for distribution or storage by clipping, assembling, and binding materials as needed.<br>• Process incoming and outgoing boxes of records and materials while keeping items accounted for throughout handling.<br>• Track document and box inventory using spreadsheets and other recordkeeping tools to support accurate reporting.<br>• Enter file and inventory information into Excel and related systems with a strong focus on accuracy and completeness.<br>• Support electronic filing activities by uploading, categorizing, and maintaining digital records in an orderly manner.<br>• Assist with general back-office document support to help daily operations run efficiently in a fully on-site environment.
• At least 1 year of experience in document handling, filing, records support, or a similar administrative environment.<br>• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including basic spreadsheet entry and tracking.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Word for routine document preparation and updates.<br>• Experience with filing, e-filing, data entry, or other document control tasks.<br>• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage repetitive tasks with consistency.<br>• Ability to lift, move, and process boxes as part of daily operational responsibilities.<br>• Comfortable working 100% on site in Boston, Massachusetts.
