We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Attorney/Lawyer to join our team in Berkeley, California. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in civil litigation and a strong ability to handle complex legal matters with professionalism and precision. This role requires a proactive individual who excels in legal research, drafting, and courtroom advocacy.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Assess and evaluate potential new cases by analyzing technical and legal aspects.<br>• Gain comprehensive knowledge of assigned cases, including all relevant facts and details.<br>• Review, summarize, and highlight key evidence from case documents.<br>• Conduct in-depth legal research to support case development and strategy.<br>• Manage all aspects of civil discovery, including drafting discovery requests, coordinating meet and confer sessions, and preparing for depositions.<br>• Draft legal briefs, memoranda, and other case-related documents.<br>• Prepare thoroughly for hearings, trials, and depositions to ensure successful outcomes.<br>• Collaborate with and coordinate the selection and preparation of expert witnesses.<br>• Identify, recruit, and work closely with experts to strengthen case arguments.

• Demonstrated academic achievement and attention to detail; federal law clerk experience is highly desirable.<br>• Exceptional analytical abilities with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.<br>• Superior skills in legal writing, drafting, and oral advocacy.<br>• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, both verbal and written.<br>• Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to manage priorities and adapt to changing demands.<br>• Proven ability to work independently while maintaining patience and composure under pressure.<br>• High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
