<p>We are looking for a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our team in Austin, Texas. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced healthcare environment, supporting network design and implementation for a rapidly growing organization. The role requires a senior-level individual with expertise in enterprise-level networking and the ability to lead projects from conception to completion.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>POSITION: NETWORK ENGINEER</strong></p><p><strong>LOCATION: AUSTIN, TX 78753</strong></p><p><strong>DURATION: 6 MONTH CONTRACT POSSIBLE EXTENTSIONS</strong></p><p><strong>RATE: $65-$70/HOUR W2</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead the design, implementation, and support of complex network solutions, with a focus on Juniper (enterprise-level) and Palo Alto firewalls.</li><li>Manage and optimize network infrastructure in a hybrid environment, with approximately 40% in AWS and 60% on-prem </li><li>Prioritize and manage multiple network projects, including deploying core switches for various locations, designing networks for new site expansions, and executing network migrations and operations.</li><li>Demonstrate expert-level knowledge of switching technologies and best practices.</li><li>Design and implement network solutions for new branches and campuses.</li><li>Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures, ensuring clarity for both technical and non-technical audiences.</li></ul>

<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Senior-level experience as a Network Engineer.</li><li>Expert-level knowledge of Juniper networking (MX, EX series).</li><li>Strong knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls (configuration, deployment, and management).</li><li>Extensive experience with enterprise-level switching.</li><li>Solid understanding of AWS networking, including Direct Connect.</li><li>Experience working in a hybrid on-premise and cloud (AWS) environment.</li><li>Experience working in a medical or laboratory environment is highly preferred, with a strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and related security considerations.</li><li>Proven ability to lead network projects, including design, implementation, and documentation.</li></ul><p><br></p>
