<p><strong>Overview:</strong></p><p>Robert Half’s Technology Practice is building a pipeline of experienced Network Engineers for upcoming contract/contract‑to‑hire roles with clients across Metro Atlanta. If you have hands-on network engineering experience and are open to new opportunities, we want to connect with you.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Design, implement, and support LAN/WAN networks across multi-site environments</li><li>Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems</li><li>Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize throughput</li><li>Manage network security policies, VPNs, and access controls</li><li>Support network upgrades, migrations, and hardware refreshes</li><li>Perform root-cause analysis for network incidents and provide timely resolutions</li><li>Document network configurations, diagrams, and procedures</li><li>Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams on cross-functional projects</li></ul>

<p><strong>Required Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>3+ years of hands-on network engineering or network administration experience</li><li>Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, VPNs, QoS)</li><li>Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar enterprise networking platforms</li><li>Firewall experience with any major platform (Cisco ASA/FTD, Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc.)</li><li>Proficiency with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, etc.)</li><li>Knowledge of network security fundamentals and best practices</li><li>Comfortable working in fast-paced enterprise environments</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent certifications</li><li>Experience with SD-WAN technologies (Viptela, Meraki, Fortinet, etc.)</li><li>Cloud networking exposure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)</li><li>VOIP, wireless engineering, or load balancing experience</li></ul>
