<p>We are looking for a skilled Inventory Analyst to join a team on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory forecasting and planning within mass retail distribution channels, ensuring optimal stock levels and seamless production and shipping processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with various teams and contribute to the development of efficient inventory management systems.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Develop and implement inventory forecasting strategies to meet demand within mass retail channels.</p><p>• Analyze historical data and market trends to optimize stock levels and reduce out-of-stock scenarios.</p><p>• Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely product availability.</p><p>• Create and maintain dashboards and reporting systems for inventory and supply chain performance monitoring.</p><p>• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and retail partners to align on inventory needs and stock status.</p><p>• Support the integration and improvement of inventory planning tools and processes.</p><p>• Utilize advanced Excel techniques to generate insights and support decision-making.</p><p>• Ensure production schedules and shipping align with forecasted demand.</p><p>• Travel occasionally to manufacturing sites or retail partners as required.</p>

• Extensive experience in inventory planning and demand forecasting within mass retail environments.<br>• Proficiency in advanced Excel functions including pivot tables, formulas, and data visualization.<br>• Familiarity with Sage or similar inventory management systems is highly preferred.<br>• Proven ability to set up and enhance inventory reporting systems and dashboards.<br>• Strong analytical and organizational skills with excellent communication abilities.<br>• Capacity to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote contract setting.<br>• Willingness to travel as needed for on-site meetings or system implementations.
