Vice President of Marketing Job Description

The vice president of marketing oversees an organization’s marketing strategy and the teams responsible for the development and execution of marketing business plans, including the definition of new markets, branding initiatives, advertising, digital strategy and pricing. This marketing leadership position may report directly to the chief marketing officer (CMO) or CEO. Ten years of marketing experience and five years of management experience are preferred. An MBA may be required.
