The intake/admissions specialist manages the initial steps of the admissions process, ensuring accurate data collection, compliance and a positive experience for patients or clients. This role is responsible for verifying eligibility, gathering documentation and coordinating with internal teams to facilitate smooth onboarding.Working closely with healthcare providers, administrative staff and insurance representatives, the intake/admissions specialist ensures timely and accurate processing of admissions while maintaining confidentiality and regulatory compliance. This position plays a key role in supporting operational efficiency and patient satisfaction.
