AI/ML Analyst

AI/ML Analyst job description

The AI/ML analyst uses artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to drive business value and innovation within an organization. The analyst is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining AI and ML models that address complex business problems and enhance decision-making processes. They work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI/ML applications, gather and preprocess data, select appropriate algorithms, and evaluate model performance. A strong foundation in statistics, programming, and data manipulation is essential, as is the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to nontechnical individuals. Typically, an AI/ML analyst holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, data science, or a related field, with 2 to 5 years of experience in AI/ML projects.

Typical AI/ML analyst duties:

Developing and implementing machine learning models to solve business problems Collecting, cleaning, and preprocessing large datasets for analysis and model training Performing feature engineering to improve model performance Evaluating and fine-tuning models to ensure accuracy and efficiency Collaborating with business units to identify opportunities for AI/ML applications Creating data visualizations and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders Staying current with the latest developments in AI/ML technologies and methodologies
