						<p><strong>Company</strong></p><p>This is a recognised and reputable accounting practice based in south west London. They provide a range of professional services in a number of its specialist fields including tax, and accounts preparation for clients globally.</p><p>The team are now looking to build out their real estate division, by recruiting a newly qualified Accountant for a new position as an Audit Assistant Manager. This role will be <strong>full-time in office</strong> during probation, then 3 days a week.</p><p><strong>Role</strong></p><p>Reporting into the Director and Partners, the Audit Assistant Manager will take ownership in managing audit engagements, reviewing junior staff work and liaising with clients. They will take on a number of key duties including:</p><ul><li>Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion, working directly with directors/partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.</li><li>Monitor progress of assignments, review work in progress, and support the billing process in line with the firm's commercial principles.</li><li>Review statutory financial statements under UK GAAP and IFRS, ensuring compliance with ISAs and the Companies Act 2006.</li><li>Prepare and review corporation tax computations and returns where required.</li><li>Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities to introduce wider firm services where relevant.</li><li>Manage client portfolio, including workload allocation, resource planning, and ensuring junior staff are fully supported.</li><li>Supervise, mentor and develop junior team members, as well as contribute to recruitment, selection and induction of new staff.</li><li>Communicate regularly with directors and partners on client progress, technical issues, and future planning matters.</li><li>Keep up to date with accounting, auditing and tax developments through CPD and independent research.</li></ul><p><strong>Profile</strong></p><p>The ideal profile for this Audit Assistant Manager position should have the following attributes:</p><ul><li>Newly qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) from an Accounting Practice background.</li><li>Practical experience and knowledge across audits and accounts preparation.</li><li>Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.</li><li>Ability to lead and work as part of a wider team.</li><li>Strong IT skills, confident with Excel and relevant finance packages e.g. Caseware.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.</li></ul><p><strong>Salary / Package</strong></p><p>£55,000 - £60,000 + additional benefits including:</p><ul><li>Discretionary bonus</li><li>Private medical and dental plans</li><li>Support for studies</li><li>Group pension scheme</li><li>Hybrid working - 2 days in office</li><li>25 days holiday</li><li>Company socials & seasonal parties</li></ul><p>The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.</p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
