Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently working with a business based in South Petherton who are looking for an individual to join as a Finance Manager (without line management) for a period of 12 months. Duration: 12 month Fixed term contract Start date: November Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 (Depending on experience)Location: South Petherton - Hybrid working options availableResponsibilities:<ul><li>Bank and petty cash reconciliations</li><li>Ensure all financial records are accurately recorded</li><li>Accurately process all invoices for goods provided and payments received on time</li><li>Ensure all supplier invoices are recorded and processed accurately</li><li>Prepare monthly management accounts - P&L, balance sheet, accruals etc (Training will be provided if necessary)</li><li>Prepare financial statements, budgets & reports (Training will be provided if necessary)</li><li>To assist with any other reasonable tasks as required</li></ul>Skills/experience needed: <ul><li>Proven experience in managing both sides of the ledger - As a minimum</li><li>Ability to work on own initiative</li><li>Great communication skills</li><li>Experience in assisting/preparing management accounts - Desirable</li><li>Ideally previously or currently studied AAT/CIMA/ACCA</li><li>Computer literate</li><li>Comfortable using Excel</li></ul>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
