Payroll Manager
<p><strong>Company</strong></p><p>This is a well-established contracts management and services business based in Greenwich (SE10). They design, build, and maintain the interior and technical systems of buildings with a focus on commercial properties, managing the end-to-end life cycle of projects.</p><p>Due to continued growth, they are looking to hire a talented Payroll Manager to join their finance team. <strong>This position will be based full-time on site in their Greenwich office.</strong></p><p><strong>Role</strong></p><p>Reporting into the Finance Director, the Payroll Manager will take sole ownership of the end-to-end payroll function within the business dealing with weekly &amp; monthly payroll processing. They will be responsible for several key duties including:</p><ul><li>Taking sole ownership of the weekly and monthly payroll, expenses and timesheets.</li><li>Reconciling timesheets with People HR records and chasing missing or incorrect information.</li><li>Managing monthly payroll submissions, including pensions, PAYE, CIS and EPS.</li><li>Preparing annual payroll documentation such as P11Ds, P45s, P60s and vehicle reporting.</li><li>Processing employee expenses, home allowances and company credit card transactions.</li><li>Supporting new starter on boarding across payroll, finance systems and employee benefits.</li><li>Maintaining accurate data within NetSuite, including invoice entry and payment matching.</li><li>Ensuring all direct debit invoices are received and processed each month.</li><li>Assisting with month-end journals, including apprentice and internal revenue journals.</li><li>Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc duties as required.</li></ul><p><strong>Profile</strong></p><p>The ideal profile for this Payroll Manager position based in south east London, should have the following attributes:</p><ul><li>4+ years of experience of experience within a sole or senior payroll manager/specialist capacity.</li><li>Strong experience in owning end-to-end payroll processes (weekly and monthly)</li><li>Good knowledge around documentation such as P11Ds, P45s etc.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.</li><li>Experience supporting journals and working closely with accounting teams preferred.</li><li>Experience with NetSuite would be advantageous.</li></ul><p><strong>Salary / Package</strong></p><p>£45,000 - £53,000 + additional benefits including:</p><ul><li><strong>Full-time in office</strong></li><li>Support for training</li><li>Discretionary bonus</li><li>Vitality healthcare &amp; dental plans</li><li>Pension scheme</li><li>Life assurance</li><li>Opportunity for hybrid working</li><li>24 days holiday + bank holidays</li></ul><p>The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.</p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
