<p><strong>Financial Reporting Accountant</strong></p><p><strong>Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid - 4 days office / 1 day WFH)</strong></p><p>Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for compliance and reporting? We're partnering with a leading global asset management group to recruit a Financial Reporting Accountant.</p><p>This role offers exposure to international entities and a mix of statutory, regulatory, and board-level reporting. The Role You'll play a key part in the Controllership team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across EMEA and APAC.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities include:</strong></p><ul><li>Statutory Reporting: Prepare annual financial statements for multiple entities, ensuring compliance with IFRS, UK GAAP, and local standards. Manage audits and liaise with external auditors.</li><li>Regulatory & Statistical Reporting: Deliver UK regulatory submissions and support overseas reporting processes. Perform analytical reviews to validate accuracy.</li><li>Board Reporting: Produce quarterly board packs with insightful commentary and draft approval papers.</li><li>Controls & Compliance: Complete SOX-compliant reconciliations, maintain documentation, and identify process improvements.</li></ul><p><strong>Collaboration:</strong> Work closely with finance teams and contribute to projects that enhance efficiency and control.</p><p><strong>About You</strong></p><ul><li>ACA/ACCA part-qualified (MAAT considered).</li><li>Strong knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP; US GAAP exposure is a plus.</li><li>Experience preparing financial statements and regulatory submissions.</li><li>Excellent analytical and communication skills.</li><li>Advanced Excel and Word proficiency.</li></ul><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
