They are seeking a talented Group Accountant to join their Finance team and play a pivotal role in managing group-wide financial reporting and consolidation.</p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Group Accountant will be responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and compliant consolidated financial information for the group. This is a key position ensuring robust financial controls, statutory compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements in line with UK GAAP.</li><li>Manage intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, and foreign currency adjustments.</li><li>Oversee quarterly consolidated reporting to the parent company.</li><li>Assist with statutory accounts preparation and liaise with external auditors during year-end audits.</li><li>Ensure compliance with UK financial regulations and reporting standards.</li><li>Deliver insightful financial analysis, variance commentary, and group-level KPIs for senior leadership.</li><li>Support budgeting and forecasting processes, consolidating business unit submissions.</li><li>Maintain and enhance internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.</li><li>Contribute to finance transformation initiatives, ERP/reporting system enhancements, and automation projects.</li><li>Support strategic projects such as corporate restructuring and acquisitions.</li></ul><p><strong>About You</strong></p><ul><li>Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA (full or part qualified).</li><li>Strong technical accounting knowledge of UK GAAP. Proven experience in group consolidation and multi-entity reporting.</li><li>Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting tools.</li><li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.</li><li>Minimum 2-3 years' relevant experience, demonstrating initiative and ability to bring fresh ideas.</li></ul><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
