Credit Controller
<p>Robert Half is currently working with a dynamic and growing organisation based in Edinburgh to recruit a motivated Credit Controller.</p><p>This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for finance to join a collaborative team and play a key role in improving cashflow and customer relationships.</p><p><strong>The Role </strong></p><p>As Credit Controller, you'll be responsible for managing your own customer ledger and ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances.</p><p><strong>Key responsibilities include:</strong></p><ul><li>Managing overdue accounts, placing accounts on/off stop, and setting up payment plans</li><li>Issuing debt-chasing correspondence and maintaining accurate records of incoming payments</li><li>Performing credit checks and setting up new customer accounts Liaising with Account Managers to resolve queries and chase payments</li><li>Monitoring unallocated payments and arranging internal transfers</li><li>Producing weekly and monthly debtor reports for management</li><li>Supporting the Accounts Receivable Manager with meetings and process improvements</li></ul><p><strong>Your Profile</strong></p><p>To be successful in this role, you'll bring:</p><ul><li>Minimum 2 years' experience in credit control or a similar finance role</li><li>Strong numeracy and attention to detail</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with Dynamics is a plus</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities</li><li>A proactive, team-oriented approach with a focus on continuous improvement </li></ul><p><strong>What's on Offer</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive salary</li><li>Training and professional development support</li><li>Supportive and collaborative working environment</li><li>Access to company benefits and wellbeing initiatives</li><li>Clear career progression opportunities</li><li>Employee Benefit Scheme</li></ul><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
