This is a varied, hands-on role covering all areas of management accounting, reporting and financial control.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities include:</strong></p><ul><li>Preparation of monthly management accounts across several group businesses</li><li>Working with business leaders to provide commercial insight and support decision-making</li><li>Production of board packs and participation in board meetings over time</li><li>End-to-end accounting responsibilities including invoice processing, bank reconciliations and reporting</li><li>Preparation of VAT returns</li><li>Tracking profitability by project or contract</li><li>Supporting assessment of new opportunities and acquisitions</li><li>Short-term cashflow forecasting</li><li>Annual budgeting and forecasting with business leaders</li><li>Year-end accounts preparation in conjunction with external auditors</li><li>Developing and presenting KPIs to drive performance</li><li>Gross profit analysis and wider ad-hoc projects as the group continues to grow</li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p>We're looking for someone who brings energy, curiosity and a proactive mindset.
