<p>Robert Half Accountancy and Finance is recruiting for Assistant Accountant to join a market leading business based in west Leeds. </p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Ensure internal controls and procedures are followed to maintain accurate accounting records.</li><li>Manage overhead activities, including accruals, expenses, reviewing invoices, and day-to-day accounting tasks.</li><li>Carry out month-end balance sheet reviews, investigate discrepancies, and escalate issues where necessary.</li><li>Extract, manipulate, and analyse data using Excel, leveraging your analytical skills to deliver insights and solutions.</li></ul><p>What We're Looking For:</p><ul><li>Accounting qualifications such as AAT or ACCA - either qualified or actively studying (essential)</li><li>Previous Assistant Accountant experience </li><li>Strong analytical skills with strong Excel skills </li><li>A confidence-driven, self-starting approach</li><li>Detail-oriented focus, with excellent attention to detail</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written</li></ul><p>What's on offer?</p><ul><li>£35,000 basic salary DOE </li><li>A range of excellent benefits / free car parking</li><li>Hybrid work model and flexible working hours</li></ul><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
