<p>Management Accountant | Wigan | £55,000 to £65,000 + Hybrid (3 Days Office / 2 Days Home)</p><p>A growing international business is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join its finance team, supporting both UK and wider European entities. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accounting professional who enjoys variety, ownership, and exposure to multi-currency accounting within a fast-paced environment.</p><p>This role offers a competitive salary of £55,000-£65,000 and a balanced hybrid working model (3 days office / 2 days home).</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including P&amp;L, budgets, forecasts, cash flows, variance analysis, and supporting commentaries.</li><li>Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries across UK and European entities.</li><li>Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.</li><li>Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.</li><li>Support the preparation of financial reporting in line with company policies and US accounting standards.</li><li>Assist with statutory reporting and tax compliance requirements.</li><li>Provide documentation and support during external audits.</li><li>Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Collaborate across teams to resolve financial queries and contribute to process improvements.</li></ul><p>About You</p><ul><li>Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).</li><li>Degree in Accounting or related discipline.</li><li>Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within a multinational environment.</li><li>Strong understanding of multi-currency accounting.</li><li>Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of Oracle or OneStream is an advantage.</li><li>Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.</li><li>Able to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines in a dynamic environment.</li><li>Confident communicator with the ability to build effective relationships across the organisation.</li></ul><p> </p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
