<p>Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant for a 6 month contract engagement. The role will report to the CFO and these are the following responsibilities:</p><p><br></p><p>• Assist with preparing financial statements and notes to financial statements</p><p>• Reconcile GL accounts</p><p>• Assist with preparing timely management reports</p><p>• Assist in the preparation of Canadian and US tax returns</p><p>• Provide assistance to the Finance team</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>

<p>To be considered for this opportunity, you are a designated CPA with 5+ years experience where it’s a combination of public practice and progressive accounting experience in industry</p><p><br></p><p>In addition, the following skills and experience are desired:</p><p><br></p><p>• Experience with limited partnership and cross-border ownership.</p><p>• Experience with understanding of US tax reporting (Form 1065 and 1120) will be an asset</p><p>• Strong accounting experience under ASPE and US GAAP</p><p>• Hands on experience with QuickBooks Desktop would be beneficial</p><p>• Excellent communication skills</p><p>• Team player</p><p>• Detail-oriented and organized</p><p>• Able to look at “big picture”</p><p>• Strong intermediate Excel skills</p><p><br></p><p>If you are an experienced accounting and financial professional, please submit your resume to Robert Half Management Resources today.
