We are looking for an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join our team on a 6-month contract basis in Surrey, British Columbia. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of a dynamic organization within the financial services industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing accounting processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting critical year-end activities. Responsibilities: • Oversee monthly and quarterly financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Provide support for the upcoming year-end audit and reporting activities. • Lead initiatives to improve business processes and enhance operational efficiency. • Develop and implement new accounting procedures and controls to optimize department workflow. • Review and maintain consolidated revenue workbooks to ensure data accuracy. • Evaluate fixed asset workflows and implement improvements for accurate recording. • Collaborate on special projects related to mergers and acquisitions (M& A) and business integrations. • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures while maintaining high standards of financial reporting. • Work in multi-currency environments to manage complex financial data. • Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.

• A recognized accounting designation (CPA or equivalent) with at least 7 years of progressive experience. • Demonstrated expertise in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. • Prior experience in public company accounting and reporting. • Proficiency in managing multi-currency financial settings. • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to handle complex data analysis. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders. • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical capabilities. • Proven ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
