We are looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to join our client on a long-term contract basis in Vancouver, British Columbia. Responsibilities:• Manage the financial accounting integration of multiple acquired entities into Dynamics 365, ensuring accuracy and compliance.• Collaborate with various departments to streamline accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, offering guidance and support.• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to maintain operational efficiency.• Coordinate with the accounts payable team to facilitate vendor data migration and onboarding into the new financial system.• Supervise the migration and reconciliation of accounts receivable balances to align with organizational standards.• Perform trial balance reconciliations, including matching and mapping purchase order items to ensure data integrity.• Address and correct discrepancies within working papers to maintain financial compliance.• Support accurate documentation and reporting throughout the transition process.• Provide insights to optimize financial systems and processes during the integration phase.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or financial management roles.• Proficiency in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations.• Strong knowledge of general ledger management and journal entries.• Advanced skills in Excel for data analysis and reporting.• Experience with month-end close processes and financial reporting standards (IFRS).• Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
