<p>Looking for a public practice role without the stiff culture?</p><p>We’re partnering with a down-to-earth, collaborative accounting firm looking to add a Staff Accountant who enjoys client work, takes pride in accuracy, and can thrive during busy season.</p><p>If you like a casual environment, approachable partners, and a team that actually helps each other in April, you’ll feel right at home here.</p><p><br></p><p>What You’ll Be Doing</p><ul><li>Prepare and file Personal & Corporate tax returns with accuracy and care</li><li>Complete compilation engagements and related financial statements</li><li>Prepare and file T4 and T5 slips in compliance with CRA requirements</li><li>Use CaseWare, Profile, and QuickBooks to maintain accurate financial records</li><li>Work closely with the team during peak periods (yes, April) to hit deadlines together</li><li>Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data</li><li>Maintain a high standard of professionalism while keeping things human and practical</li></ul><p><br></p>

<p>Experience in public practice, particularly with personal tax and compilations</p><p>Working knowledge of T4/T5 filings</p><p>Comfortable using CaseWare, Profile tax software, and QuickBooks</p><p>Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized under pressure</p><p>Reliable, team-oriented, and not afraid to ask questions</p><p>An <strong>accounting designation is an asset, not a requirement</strong></p>
