<p>We’re looking for a versatile accounting professional to join an Edmonton based organization. This is a full-time, in-office role suited for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys solving problems, and understands the importance of meeting deadlines to support overall team success. This role is ideal for a CPA in Public Practice moving into their first industry role.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><br></p><p>In this role, you will contribute to a wide range of accounting and financial functions, including:</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Supporting quarterly and annual financial reporting requirements</li><li>Assisting with consolidation accounting activities</li><li>Contributing to cash flow forecasting</li><li>Participating in the annual budgeting process</li><li>Assisting with financial covenant calculations and bank reporting</li><li>Helping develop and enhance processes and standard operating procedures</li><li>Periodically liaising with on-site accounting teams for assets under management</li><li>Working with external accountants to support year-end review engagements</li><li>Assisting with tax compliance activities</li></ul><p><br></p>

<p>The ideal candidate will demonstrate:</p><p><br></p><ul><li><strong>3+ years of progressive experience</strong> in a relevant accounting role (public practice experience is an asset)</li><li><strong>Working knowledge of ASPE</strong> and Canadian tax regulations</li><li>A <strong>CPA designation</strong> or active pursuit of one</li><li>Strong analytical abilities and technical accounting skills</li><li>Proficiency in <strong>Microsoft Word and Excel</strong></li><li>Experience with <strong>Great Plains, Business Central 365, and/or CaseWare</strong> (considered an asset)</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively</li><li>A process-oriented mindset with excellent organizational and time-management skills</li></ul><p>If this sounds like you, please apply today! </p>
