We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Oro-Medonte, Ontario. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your financial expertise and analytical skills in a dynamic environment. As part of our team, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, reconciliation, and compliance with accounting standards.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Monitor billing processes to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures.<br>• Review daily margin reports to ensure precision and reliability.<br>• Reconcile all bank accounts promptly and accurately.<br>• Prepare and post month-end journal entries in a timely manner.<br>• Complete account reconciliations and generate detailed financial reports.<br>• Enter and reconcile payroll journal entries on a biweekly basis.<br>• Support internal and external audit requests with required documentation.<br>• Perform intercompany account reconciliations to maintain consistency.<br>• Calculate and review commissions payable while verifying the accuracy of sales data.<br>• Contribute to special projects and assist with additional tasks as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.<br>• 2–4 years of accounting experience, particularly with general ledger functions.<br>• Strong grasp of accounting principles and standards.<br>• Proficiency in accounting software systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.<br>• Exceptional analytical abilities and attention to detail.<br>• Capability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.<br>• Effective written and verbal communication skills.<br>• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
