We are looking for an Intermediate Accountant to join our team in North Vancouver, British Columbia. This is a contract position designed to support our growing organization within the semi-conductors and electric components manufacturing industry. The role offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities to work on diverse accounting functions while collaborating with a close-knit team. Responsibilities: • Perform accounts receivable (AR) tasks, including billing, collections, and reconciliation of payments. • Manage bank reconciliations and intercompany transfers between multiple entities. • Oversee prepaids and accruals, ensuring accurate reporting and tracking. • Provide backup support for accounts payable (AP) activities when required. • Apply for and track government rebates, including follow-ups on collections. • Utilize accounting software systems, such as NetSuite and Concur, to streamline processes. • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate financial operations. • Conduct variance analysis to support financial decision-making. • Maintain a strong focus on cash management and AR-related tasks. • Assist in implementing new technologies and systems to improve efficiency.

• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.• Proficiency with accounting software systems, including NetSuite and Concur.• Advanced Excel skills and the ability to work with cloud-based platforms, as well as the ability and interest to adopt new technology• Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and reconciliations.• Familiarity with variance analysis and intercompany transfers.• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage various accounting functions.• Tech-savvy mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems.• Comfortable working in a business casual environment with a collaborative team.
