Key Responsibilities:• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statement and variance analysis.• Review manual journal entries and prepare complex accounting entries.• Take the lead in regional balance sheet analysis, review reconciliations, and enhance process quality.• Execute and improve controls to ensure compliance with the global SOX program.• Identify and champion process improvements within SOX and accounting operations.• Support both internal and external audit activities.

The Ideal Candidate Will Bring:• Experience at a Big 4 public accounting firm (audit/assurance) with exposure to IFRS, US GAAP, and SOX, looking to transition into industry — or a CPA designation with drive to take the next step.• Strong technical accounting skills and a passion for developing expertise in a complex public company environment.• A desire to streamline and improve processes, with a strong continuous improvement mindset.• Experience with an ERP software platform or direct involvement in an ERP implementation project will be considered an asset.• Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration capabilities.• A proactive, solutions-focused, and curious mindset.
