As they continue to grow, they are seeking a General Accountant to join their finance team and support day‑to‑day accounting, reporting, and operational finance activities. CompensationSalary Range: $60,000 to $75,000 Additional Non‑Discretionary Compensation· Employer‑paid benefits program (health, dental, vision)· RRSP Match· Mileage reimbursement when applicable About the Role The General Accountant will support the overall financial health of the organization through accurate accounting, reconciliations, reporting, and collaboration with operational teams. This role is ideal for individuals experienced in full‑cycle accounting within distribution, manufacturing, or agricultural environments. Key Responsibilities· Maintain full‑cycle accounting including AP, AR, GL, and month‑end activities· Prepare financial statements, reports, and supporting schedules· Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis· Assist with budgeting and forecasting· Manage inventory costing and support operational costing initiatives· Ensure accuracy of financial data and compliance with applicable standards· Collaborate with operations, sales, and installation teams to support project accounting· Support year‑end audit process and liaise with external auditors· Recommend process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency
