Responsibilities:• Act as a key resource for finance and operational teams by guiding users on the construction module and helping stakeholders build confidence in its day-to-day use.• Collaborate with external accounting partners and internal leaders to deliver support, answer process-related questions, and improve understanding of system capabilities.• Lead discussions with operations and finance groups to identify reporting priorities, define information needs, and shape meaningful performance measures for project oversight.• Coordinate the preparation and transfer of project-related information, including estimates, labour details, equipment records, workforce data, and CSI coding, for a portfolio of active projects.• Review legacy coding structures and assess conversion accuracy to ensure budgets, forecasts, and project tracking align properly within the updated financial framework.• Develop practical reporting timelines and routines that provide operations teams with timely, decision-ready insights on project performance.• Support data loading, setup, and configuration activities required to enable reliable reporting and ongoing use of the platform.• Analyze financial and operational information to identify inconsistencies, resolve issues, and improve the quality of project-level reporting outputs.

Our client is a growing manufacturing organization with operations across North America and overseas. They are investing in better reporting, stronger financial insight, and more scalable processes as the business continues to evolve. This newly created Senior Financial Analyst role will report directly to the Group Controller and play a key part in building and strengthening FP&A, improving operational visibility, and supporting leadership with timely, meaningful analysis. This is an opportunity to move beyond the numbers, gaining first hand exposure to the operational and strategic drivers behind the business. Key responsibilities • Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting with a strong focus on manufacturing and product operations.• Partner with offshore finance and analysis teams to improve the quality, timeliness, and consistency of reporting.• Build, maintain, and enhance financial models used for forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.• Explain financial results and operational variances in a clear, practical way for non finance stakeholders.• Help establish and track KPIs tied to manufacturing performance such as scrap, shipping rates, and fill rates.• Develop and monitor dashboards and reporting tools as the business moves toward a new BI environment.• Identify process improvements across finance and operations and help implement practical solutions.• Provide guidance and coordination on accounting and FP&A activities, occasionally stepping in to assist with journal entries or close related tasks.• Gradually assume responsibility for the Controller’s day-to-day operational activities, allowing the Controller to focus more heavily on strategic initiatives.• Connect financial insights to operational decision making and overall business strategy.
